A fast growing window installation company based throughout London is looking for a new trainee window fitter to join their team, working with and learning from their experienced carpenters.

Work is carried out throughout London and the South Coast.

The role will include training on all aspects of the installation of timber windows & doors.

They will look to train the successful applicant to a level where they become a fully skilled installer in their own right.

Experience in window installation, carpentry or any type of construction is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

The types of jobs we will need you to attend include the following examples:

• Hanging sashes on new cords
• Fitting new staff and parting beads
• Fitting new box sashes and casement windows and doors and making good plastering
• Minor timber repairs
• Painting work

Initial Salary: £22,000 per year. Salary to be reviewed after 6 months.

Valid UK driving licence beneficial but not essential.

Other Job Details:

• Schedule: 8 hours day, Monday – Friday
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Location: London and the South Coast

Our client is an established and expanding timber sash window and door business based in South East London. Their speciality is the manufacture and installation of a range of timber home improvement products, including windows and doors.
