Job Title: Plasterer Multi

Location: Reading

Build Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the built environment – from executive to operative level.

With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for a carpenter based in Reading.

Day to Day duties of a Plasterer Multi:

Carry out plastering repairs and refurbishments in social housing properties, including patching and skimming damaged walls and ceilings.
Repair and replace damaged plasterboard and drywall as needed.
Apply rendering and finishing coats to surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting health and safety regulations and company standards.
Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate repairs and complete projects on time.
Communicate effectively with tenants to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the repair work.
Carpentry: Skirting, hang doors
Painting and decorating e.g. small paint jobs
Plumbing: Tap changes, and minor plumbing repairs
UPVC: Repair of windows and door locks

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications) of a Multi Trader:

Minimum NVQ level 2, or time served experience in either carpentry, plumbing, plastering with proven competency in non-core trades
Experience in domestic properties
Good social skills
Good customer service
Asbestos awareness certificate
DBS check
Drivers Licenses
Qualifications
CSCS Card
