If you have experience building stage sets or temporary scenic elements for conferences, festivals, live music, exhibitions or in the theatre, this is the ideal role to expand your skill set and progress your career towards larger projects and senior positions.

Our client is looking for a dedicated production carpenter who can conduct and oversee the installation and breakdown of bespoke scenery solutions for events. You will work closely with technical teams to integrate scenic and audio visual solutions into one larger project. Long term open progression towards a team leading, design or client facing position is on offer, depending on the direction the successful candidate is aiming towards.

Your Role as an Production Carpenter will Include:
Working on site constructing and breaking down temporary scenic solutions for events
Leading and managing teams of carpenters and local crew on larger productions
Supporting creative designers and preparing jobs at the warehouse

The successful Production Carpenter will need:
Scenic carpentry experience
Knowledge of the events industry
Good communication skills
