Carpenter/Multi-Trade Engineer

My client are looking for an experienced engineer, preferably a qualified carpenter by trade who has a strong portfolio of multi-trade and property maintenance experience and skillset as we will require the candidate to be able to fit laminate/engineered flooring, kitchen worktops, hang doors in addition to other multitude of general property maintenance works. The candidate will be expected to have a knowledge and strong skill set of all types of carpentry and joinery as well as a basic knowledge/understanding of other general building and property maintenance such as fencing repairs and cupboard/appliance doors repairs etc. The candidate will be responsible for being punctual, hard-working, aware of well finished work and a strong team player who has great communication skills in order to help jobs run as well as possible.

You will be required to attend different sites/properties across London to complete the issues identified in each property. The majority of the works will be all types of carpentry & general property maintenance works.All jobs are arranged by the office so the candidate needs to attend and carry out the works as per requirements. We use a software which can be downloaded onto a smart device where your jobs will be sent through to complete detailed reports, photo & video evidence following findings.

Vans and clothing to be provided however we expect all engineers to supply their own tools.Qualifications are strongly preferred in addition with a strong knowledge and experience of carpentry and joinery. We do request the candidate to have a good understanding and knowledge in other general building aspects.Full UK Driving Licence essential. Due to providing a company van we do need the candidate to live within a 35 mile radius of Central London.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
