Maintenance Handyperson required to provide maintenance / handyperson duties at a hotel in Canterbury, Kent. As Maintenance Handyperson a valid driving licence would be desirable. Candidates who have a trade are invited whether this be Electrical / Plumbing / Carpenter. As Maintenance Handyperson your role and attributes will include: Responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, to include the upkeep of outside areas and some plants. You will be a self-motivated person who can work to complete a task list. You will be supporting the hotel as required with duties to include basic electrical, plumbing and general maintenance upkeep. You must be able to prioritise your own list of jobs, as well as being proactive in developing regular schedules to work efficiently and to remain within the budget. You will ensure that duties are carried out to the standards required. Your role will also ensure that work is completed within Health & Safety statutory regulations. Mainly working Monday to Friday, however ideally, to work every other week on a Saturday half day cover, with time off in the week. The Maintenance Handyperson role will suit a candidate who likes to be very hands on. The salary for Maintenance Handyman is given as £26,000 / per annum / 40 hour week. Plus other benefits.
