A skilled, time served Joiner with preferably 5 years of experience is needed to join the team at this leading Construction and Structural Repairs company based in Liverpool on a full-time basis.

Established for over 25 years, they are a family business which prides itself on quality. They take on a wide range of jobs, from simple repairs to extensions and conversions.

You must have experience working in the social landlord sector in both void and tenanted properties.

You will be provided with a van to excel in this role and wages are negotiable depending on experience.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in woodworking techniques and joinery methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
• Competence in using various hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery, such as saws, chisels, routers, and drills
• Understanding of joinery principles and the ability to create precise and accurate joints
• Familiarity with different types of joinery, including butt joints, mortise and tenon joints, dovetail joints, and box joints
• Experience in measuring, marking, and cutting wood to specific dimensions
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions
• Knowledge of woodworking safety practices and adherence to safety guidelines
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for working with wood and tools
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements

Desirable Experience:

• 5 years of carpentry experience
• CSCS (preferred)
