L&Q is looking for an experienced FRA Carpenter to join the Fire team within Property Services on a permanent basis.

The FRA Carpenters work within a small team carry out work across the L&Q housing stock and report to the Maintenance Supervisor for Passive Works.

The position entails carrying out door upgrades works, installing fire door sets. Fully certified door sets will also be installed by the team and full training will be given to ensure compliance under our BM TRADA accreditation. Candidates will be comfortable with completing paperwork related to BM trada to a high standard.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in installing and maintaining fire doors and will be highly skilled carpenters with a keenness for attention to detail.

Our FRA Carpenters are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
