Working as a Retail Trade Store Department Manager you will motivate and lead a team to support customers with a wide range of building and construction products covering:

• Building Materials
• Timber and Joinery
• Landscaping and Fencing
• Kitchens and Bathrooms
• Flooring and Tiling
• Plumbing and Heating
• Tools, Equipment and Workwear
• Painting and Decorating
• Electrical, Lighting and Ventilation
• Security and Ironmongery
• Fixings and Adhesives

As a Retail Trade Store Department Manager your customer base will be tradespeople such as construction workers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers, painters and decorators, construction project managers etc.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Retail Trade Store Department Manager include:

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with customers

• Motivating and inspiring a team of colleagues

• Ensuring stock availability and merchandising levels are to the required standards

• Ensure safe working practices of all colleagues

• Keyholding and Duty Management
