Hours of Work: 8am – 4pm

We are working with an esteemed client of ours to find a labourer for a guaranteed 4 days of work at a site in Hull with the starting postcode of HU5. Potential for work thereafter also.

Generic Duties of a Labourer

In this role you will be working in a team to complete all daily tasks. Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for:

• Performing general maintenance of construction equipment on the site.
• Moving tiles
• Performing setup and clean-up tasks on site
• Assist site manager with any jobs as deemed reasonable

Specific Duties of this role

General works comprise of helping move materials around sites for carpenters and joiners.

Skills and experience of a labourer

As a labourer, you need have experience with;

• They should be able to work well as part of a team but also be able to work independently

It would be beneficial to the Labourer role if you also had;

• Experience working on similar sites
• General knowledge of building and construction practices
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
